What's New in the Latest Update

Here are the latest features and enhancements recently added to Joom:

• Offers & Services Module: You can now add dynamic "Offers" and "Services" (like 7 Days Replacement, Bank Discounts) to individual products. These link to custom Elementor Blocks that open in a lightning-fast AJAX popup without leaving the product page!
• Advanced Reviews with Image Uploads: Customers can now upload up to 5 images with their product reviews. We added a highly optimized custom database table to manage these reviews perfectly.
• Bulk CSV Pincode Checker: Added a new Import/Export tool in Joom Settings to easily upload thousands of delivery pincodes and estimated days via a simple CSV file.
• Image & Speed Optimization: Automatic WebP image conversion, auto-scaling of large images, and smart LCP (First Contentful Paint) priority fixes to easily score 99+ on Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Grouped Products UI Upgrade: Grouped products now beautifully display thumbnail images next to their names and default to a quantity of 1 for better conversions.

1. Server Requirements

To use Joom Theme, ensure your hosting server meets the following requirements for a smooth and fast experience:

• WordPress Version: 6.0 or higher
• PHP Version: 7.4 or higher (8.0+ recommended)
• PHP Memory Limit: 256MB or higher (512MB recommended for Elementor)
• Max Execution Time: 300 seconds
• Max Input Vars: 1000+

2. Theme Installation

You can install the theme via the WordPress admin dashboard or via FTP.

Method 1: WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)

1. Download the entire package from ThemeForest and unzip it.
2. Locate the my-joom-theme.zip file inside the extracted folder.
3. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
4. Navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.
5. Choose my-joom-theme.zip and click Install Now.
6. Once installed, click Activate.

3. Required & Recommended Plugins

After activating the theme, you will see a notice at the top of the screen asking you to install required plugins.

1. Click on Begin installing plugins.
2. Select all plugins, choose Install from the bulk actions dropdown, and click Apply.
3. Once installed, go back to the plugin installer, select all plugins again, choose Activate, and click Apply.

Core Plugins:

• Joom Core: Essential plugin for Theme Options, Demo Importer, and Custom Post Types.
• Elementor: The best drag-and-drop page builder used for the theme.
• WooCommerce: Required for eCommerce functionality.

4. License Activation (Important)

To use the premium features of Joom Core and to import the Demo Content, you must first activate your theme using your Envato Purchase Code.

1. Log in to your ThemeForest (Envato) account.
2. Go to your Downloads page.
3. Click on the Download button next to the Joom theme and select License certificate & purchase code (text).
4. Open the downloaded text file and copy your Item Purchase Code.
5. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
6. Navigate to Joom Settings > Dashboard.
7. Paste your purchase code in the License Activation box and click Activate.

4.1 One-Click Demo Import

After activating your license, this is the most critical step to get your site looking exactly like our live preview.

1. Navigate to Joom Settings > Demo Import in your WordPress dashboard.
2. You will see a list of available niche demos (Electronics, Fashion, etc.).
3. Click the Import button on your preferred demo.
4. Important: Do not refresh or close the page while the importer is running. It may take 2-5 minutes depending on your server's download speed.

5. Joom Settings Panel (Comprehensive Guide)

The Joom Settings panel is the heart of your theme. It is powered by the Joom Core plugin and syncs seamlessly with the native WordPress Customizer. Here is a complete breakdown of every feature available.

5.1 Dashboard & System Status

The welcome screen gives you access to quick links for Support and Documentation. The System Status tab checks your server environment (PHP Version, Memory Limit, cURL, GD Library) to ensure Joom runs perfectly. You can also generate a System Report to send to our support team.

5.2 General & Layout

Control the foundation of your website's layout and branding.

• Logo Settings: Upload separate logos for Desktop and Mobile. You can also define specific Width/Height or use a "Text Logo" fallback where the first letter gets a beautiful premium styling.
• Layout Settings: Enable Full-Width containers for the Header, Shop Page, or Single Product Page. Adjust the Container Gap (padding) for perfect alignment on large screens.
• Sidebar Settings: Globally hide the sidebar across the site, or hide it specifically on the Homepage.

5.3 Theme Colors

Joom utilizes a powerful CSS Variable system, meaning color changes are instantaneous and apply globally (even inside Elementor).

• Base & Backgrounds: Set Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background, and Card/Box colors.
• Typography & Links: Adjust global text color, light text (muted), and hyperlink colors.
• Buttons: Customize the background and text color for normal and hover states of all primary buttons.
• Header & Footer Colors: Instantly create a dark footer or a colorful header.
• WooCommerce Elements: Micro-manage colors for Prices, Sale Prices, Add to Cart buttons, Go to Cart (success) buttons, Sale/New Badges, and Stock In/Out indicators.

5.4 Advanced Typography

Load optimized Google Fonts (with CSS2 API for fast loading) specifically for different groups.

• Groups Available: Global Body Text, Headings (H1-H6), Primary Navigation, Buttons & Badges, Product Pricing, Product Titles, and Meta/Topbar text.
• Customizations: For each group, you can independently set the Font Family, Font Weight, Font Size, Line Height, Letter Spacing, and Text Transform (Uppercase/Capitalize).

• Header Settings: Toggle the Sticky Glassmorphism Header and the ultra-fast AJAX Live Search (with product image and price suggestions).

• Mobile Bottom Menu: Enable an App-like sticky bottom menu on mobile devices. You can customize up to 5 items, choosing their action (Home, Categories Drawer, Cart, Profile, Wishlist, or Custom Link), icons, and active colors.
• Language & Currency: Natively integrates with Polylang and CURCY. Choose whether to show as a Dropdown or List, and whether to show Flags, Names, or Symbols.
• Top Bar Links: Customize the center promo text, Help Center link, Delivery link, Warranty link, and the highlighted "Joom Pro" (Geek) button.

5.6 Footer & Socials

Manage the sophisticated multi-column footer.

• Footer Content: Upload a QR code image (great for App downloads), App Store & Play Store badges, and a custom Payment Gateway image stripe. Enter your custom copyright HTML.
• Mobile Menu Social Links: Add URLs for Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. Leaving them empty auto-hides the icons.

5.7 WooCommerce Product (Core eCommerce Engine)

This tab replaces the need for dozens of paid WooCommerce plugins.

• Catalog Mode: Hide prices and the "Add to Cart" button globally. Replace them with custom text (e.g., "Call for Price").
• Media Settings: Enable the Product Video & 3D Model view inside the WooCommerce image gallery.
• Shop Cards & Swatches: Enable Color/Image swatches on the archive pages. Choose between Circle or Rounded Square shapes.
• Frequently Bought Together: Enable the Amazon-style FBT section. (Set up individual bundles inside the product edit screen).
• Related & Upsells: Control the exact number of products to show and how many columns per row (3 to 7 columns).
• Shop Pagination: Choose between Standard Numbered pagination, "Load More" button with custom text, or seamless Infinity Scroll.
• Flash Sale Countdown: Enable a conversion timer. Set it to 'Real Stock' (reads WooCommerce sale dates) or 'Fake/Random' marketing mode which resets automatically (e.g., every 1440 mins).
• Live Viewers: Show "X people viewing". Set to Fixed count or Random count.
• Delivery & Trust Badges: Define a global "Estimated Delivery Days" string, enable secure checkout trust badges, and upload up to 5 payment method icons to display under the add to cart button.
• Product Badges: Control the dynamic 'Sale', 'New', and 'Featured' badges. Set how many days a product is considered 'New'.
• JOOM Select Badge: Customize the premium "JOOM Select" highlight label (Main Text, Sub Text, and link).
• Size Chart: Enable global or per-product size charts. Choose to display them as a Popup Modal or an inline Product Tab.
• Cart Page: Enable the Free Shipping Progress bar and define the goal amount.

5.8 Maintenance Mode

Don't want visitors seeing your site while you design it? Enable Maintenance Mode directly from the theme. Customize the Heading, Message, and upload a beautiful Background Image. (Administrators will bypass this screen automatically).

5.9 Marketing & Conversion

Built-in popup tools to capture leads and show social proof.

• Recent Sales Popup: Shows a toast notification (e.g., "Someone in Delhi just bought iPhone"). You can use 'Real Orders' (reads actual WC data) or 'Fake/Random'. Define the fake cities list and the popup interval in seconds.
• Exit-Intent Promo Popup: Triggers when a user moves their mouse to close the browser tab. Customize the Title, Subtitle, Promotional Image, Cookie Expiration, and optionally paste a Shortcode (like Contact Form 7 or Mailchimp) to collect emails.

5.10 Custom Code

Safely add your Custom CSS or Custom JavaScript (like Google Analytics tracking code or Meta Pixels) without editing theme files. Code placed here is safe during theme updates.

5.11 Delivery & Pincodes

Allow customers to check delivery availability using their zip code.

• Manual Entry: Enter pincodes in the text area in the format [Pincode]:[Days] (e.g., 110001:2-3). Use all:5-7 to set a default delivery time for unlisted codes.
• CSV Import Tool: Don't want to type thousands of codes? Click the "Import CSV" button and upload a simple 2-column CSV file (Column 1: Pincode, Column 2: Days). The theme will parse it instantly!

5.12 Tools & Export

A safety net for your customizations. Export your current Theme Options as a .json file to keep a backup. If you want to migrate settings to another domain, simply upload the file via the Import Settings feature. You can also "Reset to Defaults" here (Danger Zone).

6. Pro WooCommerce Features (Deep Dive)

Joom reduces your reliance on third-party paid plugins by building the most requested eCommerce features right into the theme.

6.1 Frequently Bought Together (FBT)

Display Amazon-style bundled products below the add to cart button to increase Average Order Value (AOV).

1. Enable FBT from Joom Settings > WooCommerce Product.
2. Edit any Product in WooCommerce.
3. Go to the Linked Products tab in the Product Data box.
4. Add related products in the Frequently Bought Together field.

6.2 Live Viewers & Flash Sale Countdown

Create urgency to drive instant conversions.

• Live Viewers: Displays "🔥 X people are viewing this right now". Set to fixed or random mode in Joom Settings.
• Flash Sale Timer: A sleek countdown timer above the price. It syncs with actual WooCommerce Sale Dates, or can be set to a "Fake/Looping" mode (resets every 24 hours) for evergreen marketing.

6.3 Product Video & 3D Model View

Enhance the product gallery natively. Edit any product, go to the Advanced tab, and paste a YouTube/Vimeo URL or 3D Model iframe code. It will integrate seamlessly into the main gallery slider.

7. Mega Menu Setup

Joom includes a highly advanced, App-like Mega Menu system out of the box. No heavy third-party mega menu plugins are required!

1. Go to Appearance > Menus.
2. Select or create the menu assigned to the Categories Menu location.
3. Add your WooCommerce Product Categories to the menu.
4. Pro Tip: To add an icon to the parent category, edit the Product Category in WooCommerce (Products > Categories) and upload a Thumbnail image. The theme automatically fetches this image and places it inside the Mega Menu sidebar!
5. The theme automatically creates the elegant grid layout for sub-categories and grandchild categories.

8. SEO Category Descriptions (Read More)

To rank higher on Google, WooCommerce categories need text, but long text pushes products down. Joom solves this natively!

Go to Products > Categories and add a long description to any category. Joom will automatically display it beautifully at the top of the archive page, hiding the excess text behind an elegant "Read More" button.
